SimpleSimon Posted December 1, 2014 Report Share Posted December 1, 2014 Hi all, I'm new to the site (obviously) and quite new to shooting in general. I've been deer stalking a few times this year and it's safe to say I'm hooked! Hoping to get my first experience of shotguns soon too, probably at the local clay ground to start with. Ultimately pigeons and/or wildfowling is what I'd like to try alongside the stalking. Just applied for my first FAC/SGC this week. I have a young GWP/Lab cross bitch that I'm training for deer work and basic retrieves, at 8 months old she's coming along ok. Hoping thay next year we'll be able to put some training into practice on the retrieving side as well as as lot more practicenon the deer (she's been on a stalk, but nothing was shot).
