I've a cannon with some very good lenses but have found it very bulky to carry. A good friend of mine gave me a gopro 3 black and although small I'm finding the pictures excellent once I got the hang of it. It got the touch screen on so makes it more versatile but very compact. I have never used a gopro but you seem to have it worked out.. If you want an outing one of the days Let me know as I try to get to Bradgate at least twice a year.
