Crossman Rat Catcher

Hi I am about to buy a Crossman Rat Catcher for my son model No 2250b. On line shops say With New Improved Bolt but my gun shop didnt know if it had been changed and when he spoke to his supplier she didn't know either. So my question is how long ago did the improvement happen and do you think there are old types still on the market. The cost will be £134

Cheers

Nick

Yes location is a problem by the time you pay RFD costs, and if possible I like to support our local man. I am more concerned about this new bolt design which is meant to make for easier loading hopefully someone can tell me if they are all the new design

Hi Bali. The 2250B hasn't got a new bolt. The new bolt and action is on the new 2250XL which is a useful upgrade and available for £199:00 with a better scope too. The XL also has a longer barrel threaded for a silencer and I tested one at 11 ft/lb the other day.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Airsporter99 but, http://www.solware.co.uk/air-pistol-air-rifle/crossman-webley-ratcatcher.shtmlthis is what all the air rifle shops say

As a prospective buyer its a shame people that should know don't. It looks to me that I shall just go with the one that is delivered to my gun shop. I see you are in Cardiff pity, I came through there the other day could of called in, Are you a shop ?
