JDog
As I drove along the Warwick by pass today I saw three fields with possibly 500 pigeons in and lots joining from some distance. As far as I can make out from my phone the fields were just south of Kenilworth between the Warwick road and the a46. There may be a hotel or golf club or something similar opposite on the Warwick road.

JDog
It would be perfectly possible to shoot those fields without disturbing anyone nearby.
popa bear
Yes JD I think the fields you are talking about are right by the leek wotton junction up towards Kenilworth I go past them 6 times a day in the truck and blast them with the horn. They don't take a blind bit of notice theres a couple of fields on the opposite side of the dual carriageway aswell. They have been growing in numbers over the last couple of weeks.I posted a note to crowman about them cause he is up that way they are certainly giving that rape a caneing
pigeon controller
I use to fish the Avon at Barford and the pigeon would come out of roost at dawn and head towards Kenilworth it's always been a good area for birds around National Agricultural showground. bakerboy
I have a Shooting Coach friend that lives very close to that spot and sees the birds there on a regular basis. He has asked permission to shoot the land many times but has always been refused, the shooting is done by a syndicate. It would appear that it is one of those syndicates that do not shoot the land on a regular basis. The information was good, and it pleased me to inform him that I knew there were pigeons in good numbers near to his home. I did not tell him where the information came from, Thanks Jdog.
