Underdog Posted December 17, 2014 Report Share Posted December 17, 2014 Some of you fine folk will remember last Wednesday I was in pursuit of a fox but only had my double barrel front stuffer! I vowed a few walks with the .357 to target this fox. Nothing goes to plan does it! When I stalked in from first light not a pheasant was heard, heard complaining that is, in fact there was next to no birds at all! Then I noticed why, the blooming hunt had been through! Like a does of salts too With a sigh I settled into a good walk, sit and watch kind of day. Bird watching and a little squirrel shoot. I switched ammo, to small game ammo and turned the elevation turret up 1.2turns. No rabbit to be seen . No pheasants to bag Just more lousy squizzles! Think I will give this place a rest! U.
