scolopax
Illegal to catch up after the season............ It is a job to be doing now............. Which is a ridiculous law and needs changing so that at least February is available for catching up. MBW
Take one of the pens down for the wood to be thinned, then get as many snares as I can out and running, and step up the squirrel control (had 334) last year. The joys of taking on a new shoot
kennett
Move feeders back into the centre of the shoot, get back on the foxes and squirrels and start planning for next season!

Alycidon
Tidy up, lay laurels in woods, pull pegs in, keep feeding, cut game crops, plough when dry enough, poison the rats around the feeders some more. Write up shoot accounts, hold annual meeting with landlords, hold meeting with guns, pay up accounts. Look at shoot trailers etc ref any maintenance issues. Start getting Larsens out. Keep feeding.
