Air Arms S200 Multi-shot conversion

Does anyone know if the m/s conversion for these is manually indexing - where you have to move the mag with your fingers - or is it automatic like most m/s guns?

Also, does popping a regulator into it get the power up from 10.5 ft/lb (where they are when factory set, I THINK) up to a nice 11 ft/lb? Can you get shrouded barrels for them?

magazine is auto indexing fitted one to me m8s rifle easy fit.

any decent gunsmith can up the power to near legal limit with the existing set up.

i understood regulators give a more consistant air delivery as pressure drops.

have you had it on the chrono yet as i have people complain about lack of power when i stick em on mine and usually spot on!

can't comment on shroud.

air arms unit is auto indexing, some have trouble setting them up, some don`t, I use them on both of my s200`s in .22 and .177, as for power adjustment is easy but remember that shot count will drop if you increase it, pm me if you want to know how mine are set, as for regs join the AAOC and search for Raj`s posts, he`s used an altoross reg in one with good results

Er, I've not actually got one...yet. I'm just thinking through about getting one. I like the idea of the gun, but would like a few things to be done on it. I've since had a look at the reg options and setting it at 11.5 ft/lb isn't too complicated.

Anyone know about shroud possibilities, or is the barrel band too much of a problem?

stick a weiurach (however you spell it, they make the hw`s)silencer on it although the AA mod is not bad, as for power you won`t notice that much of a difference wether its 10 f/lb or 11 f/lb, the only thing that will know is a chrono, just learn your aim points and crack on, when I got my first s200 it was set as a target gun,, 6 f/lb, put 2 tins of pellets through it before hunting (not shot for about 10 years so needed to re learn how to shoot), dropped loads with it, then bought a combro and got paranoid about extracting as much legal power as possible, made no difference whatsoever to the amount of quarry I got, as for a reg, not needed, stays in the sweet spot for 45-50 shots in .177 so good for a long hunting spell or a round of hft, what more do you want

Had the s200 with multi shot conversion and it was auto indexing, would def look at getting it regulated as every shot will be consistent power.

Have a look on Air Arms Owners Club forum, supplier on there has everything you need, rifles for sale and a host of info,Raj worships the s200 and has done what you are looking to do.

I had my s200 Regulated by Simon (tench, BSA Owners Group), and in .177 , I get 55 shots@ 11.6ft/lbs 'AA Diablo field', before it drops of the regulator.

I have never had a problem with the CZ indexing on 10 shot conversion,(regular drop of oil), and I have had the rifle 6 years, it has never missed a beat.

A Barrel adaptor, from 'Best fittings', so you can fit a HW 100 moderator, makes it an awesome rifle.

I know folk want more shots , but I can only carry so many rabbits. :)
