Scully
Try gun trader; there are often spare barrels for sale on there.
Redgum
What a lovely gun the twelvette is, I had one with 3/4 choke and an open barrel that my father pass on to me, used the open for pigeons from the hide. Funny little double shuffle with the recoil due to spring ejection and feed but it shot like a dream. Of all the guns I have sold over the years this is the one I wished I hadn't sold. theshootist
Finding a barrel will not be easy. You may chance upon one in the UK if you're lucky and wait lng enough. You will see on US ebay there will be plenty, but sellers are unlikely to post to us here!
Fuji Shooter
Dennis at UK Gun Repairs has a complete one for sale cheap, not sure on choking though.
Yorkshireandy
I wanted one with a more open choke for pigeon shooting from the hide. Love this gun though. I dont think many people would post one. Is there any restrictions on posting/sending barrels? Because they are part of a firearm would it have to be RFD? I considered getting the barrel altered so it would be multi choke but I am reluctant to have the work done due to cost and the fact I would alter the original barrel. oliver90owner
Removing choke is easy and relatively cheap. Putting it back in is rather more expensive! Maybe have it reamed out to 1/4 now and consider multichoking it later? Use felt wad cartridges for a more open pattern than plastic shot-cupped varieties? Using full choke and either missing or smashing the birds beyond eating is not good. I would suggest a pattern plate first, with several cartridge types before making any decisions. Yorkshireandy
Thanks for that Rab I'll try out a variety of felt wad carts first. That was the reason I asked as I didnt want to obliterate the birds with it.
69chris
interesting thread, im in a similar position with mine, i have a tatty ole worthless franchi 48/al that i love dearly, unfortunatly its a fixed choke at 3/4 and i really struggle with it i doubt finding another barrel will be easy so could that be easily reamed out to say, 1/2 ? just to give me a better chance in the hide
theshootist
Taking a few thousands of an inch out to relieve choke is an easy and relatively cheap job for a competent gunsmith.

If you get no joy, think about opening it up to 1/2. From there by changing the cartridges anywhere between Imp and 3/4 is on the cards. Yorkshireandy
I have had a look on the Teague website and they do work on a barrel. I've put a link below to their website. http://www.teaguechokes.com/TeaguePriceList.pdf £158 to have the barrel made into multichoke
