Hello from Bath area

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone,

I'm returning to shooting after a long break to attend to other interests.... I'm now married so I'm coming back! I live in a small town just outside of Bath and work in Gloucester. I am also currently an angler (all three disciplines) and was a ferreter in a previous life!

Have lots of air rifle experience and have done a bit of clays etc. I am expecting my SGC to come through anytime soon. Planning to get my eye in on some clays over summer and take on a bit of wildfowling/game over the winter. Am very interested in a bit of pigeon shooting as I love the taste of the things!

Always on the lookout for sporting opportunities as stupidly I let my former permission lapse and now can't get hold of the landowner! (Moved?)

Please say hello and I may need to pick your brains while I'm starting out for a few hints and tips.

Cheers

hi, loads of guys from your area are members of Gloucester Wildfowlers. Worth joining for Severn Estuary Wildfowling. Also leads to game syndicate opportunities. I shoot near Lyneham in a syndicate through my contacts in GWA. Also Clay Shoot at Barbury near Swindon M4 junction

Cheers john. Sent GWA an email but am waiting for a reply. Fowling is the main type of shooting I am interested in to be honest. Shot the air rifle range at barbury before and it looks like a nice ground. I'm also joining a small pheasant shoot as a half gun. Thanks for all the replies chaps!
