Suffolkngood
If that happens again just walk straight back to clubhouse and hand cards/ counter back in. It's the only way they'll do anything about it. If you keep shooting and paying they won't take it seriously.

Danger-Mouse
To right Wortly here I come same distance from home so I'll give it a go anyone been there Wortley runs on opposite Sundays to Sycamore so you can certainly give it a go. It`s a very enjoyable shoot, nice mixture of targets and a friendly place. New info on Sycamore Shooting Ground. Old owner has left. New owner called Nigel gonna run it from now on. He seems keen. Your information is a little bit off, the ground has not changed hands. What has happened is Bruce and Nigel have taken over setting the layouts. Bruce has also been overhauling the traps and hopefully the problems with batteries dying etc will be a thing of the past. The shoot is on this Sunday and there should be some interesting targets. I`ll be down there too so say hi if you happen to see me. did google it but not sure if it was new site or old one cheers Old website . I had second hand info, not exactly correct. Won't be there this Sunday (loved to), due to working. However 2 of my shooting/fishing buddies will be there, so will know after this weekend. Good luck with the task of improving that ground! It needs that. Hopefully it works out a better experience for everyone! Can we have a "rabbit machine", pls? northstar
Hi all, This ground and its owner has a long history of disservice to shooting in terms of sales, shoots and services, you could write a book on it, the unknowing new shooter to the sport has for years have had their leg lifted, a new owner maybe a new start, If thay are only just running it for the present owner then nothing will change, ask around and beware !!!! I went once last year to try the sporting and found it a bit dull (although I shot DTL there on several occasions) but I know the new guys will try and set some interesting targets. If your mates go then please pass on any feedback on here and I`ll make sure Bruce and Nige are kept in the loop. I don`t want to comment on the owner or his past history. I don`t know him well enough, although on the few occasions we`ve met he`s been ok with me. I`m just reporting what I know and correcting some inaccurate information. Just to be clear, I don`t have any association with the ground other than the fact the new target setters are both friends of mine.

Danger-Mouse
They made the right decision. The conditions were terrible up there, howling winds and freezing cold.
chris1961
Thought I'd give it another go 2 new kids seem ok as for new layout reserved opinion seems a tad hard for beginners at least all traps worked but to cold to shoot properly force 10 Gale May go back May not
