Lough neagh

Complex subject I'm afraid. The lough bed is currently owned by Shaftesbury estate (although negotiations are ongoing to bring it into public ownership)

To put a hide on the water you have to lease the lough bed from Shaftesbury. BUT you also need to access it - and the land running down to the shore is private farmland in the main. You'd need to get or lease access to the shore unless you have a boat. Many people lease the land from the farmer and shoot from the shore but you risk someone leasing from Shaftesbury and plonking a hide 20m in front. (It has happened to me.)

You don't "rent a hide." You lease the lough bed and it's up to you to put a hide on it. You might be lucky and find the previous tenant has left something behind them.

Like I said, it's a complex business.
