BSA P.C.P. Airgauges

Pressure gauges on air guns and filling cylinders should only be regarded as an indication of the pressure that may be present.

They should not be relied on as a statement of actual fact.

They are not calibrated gauges; the tolerance is quite high, +/- 5% from memory; therefore 10 Bar variation either way on a 200 Bar fill.

Cheers for the info .. mine has a differential of minus 15 bar from the cylinder gauge reading... ideally l.need to top up from another source to see if there remains a discrepency. To verify if its the bottle gauge or the BSA gauge reading overly inaccurate .. l suspect its likely to be the BSA component, though that's just me guessing presently ... many thanks

It's the safest guess! When in doubt, be suspicious of BSA :) I think the general consensus is that they are not the most accurate of gauges.
