WHO PAYS ?

Recommended Posts

Would like some opinions on an incident which happened the other day, we have foresters working in the wood (they`ve been there all season) the other day for the second time a tree has landed on our main pen fence, the first time we repaired the fence as poults were expected the next day, after the second the guy apologised but some guns think he should pay for repairs. What do you think?

I have done a lot of forestry work in the past and sometimes these things happen, a lot would depend on the type of job he was doing and tree type etc.

Strictly speaking he is laible but how much does it really cost to replace a post or re steeple up some wire? Is it worth upseting the forester/estate over a 10min -hour patch up job

Prob better to let him know ur not overly happy and get him to do u some favours to make up for it. Do u want a flushing point brashed or a tree felled to get more light in

If u make a big deal out of it itcould work against u in the long run. (Think i'd be more ****** off with them working in the woods throughout the season)
