I was there last back in January,it was no different to any other time ive been there of late,,,yes some of the bins could do with emptying, and a couple of the traps were playing up...

But fair do's to Andrew one of the owners ! he didn't stop running back and fore doing his best to sort things out and making sure all was ok..

Its a shame the other owner carnt put as much effort in ! Hard work single handed !

All in all tho we always enjoy our time up there....

I went there last month, but didn't really pay much attention to the ground it's self as i was buying a new gun and just tried it out before buying it. I only shot the first 30 birds 1 of the traps wasn't working any yes there was a bit of a mess about with all of the cartridges on the floor, was very quiet there swell when i visited.

I am planning on going back up sometime this summer for a day out on the clays...

How many stands do they have then?

I go up there every week and I think it's a good clay ground. As said before yes the bins are usually quite full and not many people pick up there cartridges but who cares?

£25 for 100 clays with 10 stands at the moment. (Used to be 12 but rebuilding the two at the bottom I think)

The reason some say it's gone downhill is because they only shoot the right hand side of the track- my cousin used to own it and had traps on the left side as well which was stupid as there is a public footpath going through the line of shot on the left!!

Traps are updated fairly regularly as well with some nice layouts and a few challenging shots.

Dave always gives a good deal on guns and other purchases from there as well!

Thanks for the info it sounds just like it was when I went early last year, I agree with the comment about Andrew it seems like he is the only one working which is a shame

. The only problem I have found is that since they started shooting on the right hand side only you are often shooting into the sun

and I am bad enough without that handicap. But I will go down in April

Yer I tend to only go down in the afternoon for that reason! Rouen the corner is terrible when it's really sunny almost pointless!

Still haven't been down SW2000 yet but thinking of joining the CPSA to get into some competitions down there!
