terence
Hi what paint should i use to paint a fiberglass rowing boat its kept out of water when not in use thanks Edited February 27, 2015 by terence
deny essex
Polyester paint if fine as the outer coloured gelcoat on glassfibre is polyester based, just prepare the surface by cleaning and a light abrasive rub down, no doubt acrylic and other paints with the right primers will do the job, I'm no paint expert but know glassfibre. johnphilip
If it has been gelcoated on the outside then it should not need paint

John_R
Frankly I have had decent results with Dulux exterior gloss and that was on a fibreglass dinghy that stayed in the water all year.
