JDog Posted March 1, 2015 Report Share Posted March 1, 2015 The wind was too good to miss today but the thought of lugging my kit filled me with dread. Decision made, travel light. Armed only with a gun, cartridges, two floaters and two dead birds (not even a net) I headed for a remote piece of rape which has had some attention from pigeons recently. I had less than two hours available before other commitments. Position found, twigs bent, ivy entwined, floaters out I was soon in action. Many more birds by passed the hide position than decoyed which was frustrating but I did have some good sport made all the more enjoyable by the lightness of the kit and the time it took to pack up - 2 minutes!
