stuartbrierley Posted March 2, 2015 Report Share Posted March 2, 2015 went out on some new perm (chicken sheds) bit of ferreting nice and easy sand holes no cover large rabbits bolted well but dreaded young were been killed below ground and dragged about won't be going there again this season (ferreting) the good news farmer said i can shoot the pigeons aswell so a few more fields to look at in the summer there were plenty of pigeons about but were soon gone when a banger gun went off 2 fields away (not my perm) so i'll just wait and see what's abouti have a few more perms in this area so can have a look at them as well Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

pigeonblasterian Posted March 3, 2015 Report Share Posted March 3, 2015 got some good marks on the box 3 foot broke through ferret just draging dead kits about same old story farmers dont listen they want flatening with the rimmy harvest time you can bottom them with ease Was out Sunday with some lads ferreting.Bit of digging involved as well.Good day out with a couple of good lads they brought a couple of hawks along to fly as well.Bit too windy for the hawks and they only had a short time out but was great to watch.Ended up digging for ferret at 6 feet just before it started to pour down with rain.Got to 3 feet and ferret emerged from another hole and we called it a day and i did not get any photos to put up because it was pouring down..
