Richie10
Bought one for duck, very tight, haven't had much chance to use it. As people say you have to be a good shot.
bobby b
There a brilliant choke I have 2 goose ones. They are very tight so you need to be a good shot. I thought they are a bit pricey though.
spready
I shoot steel at pigeons sometimes for birds to feed my friends hawkes , would your recommend one for this ??
panoma1
I was under the impression these patternmaster chokes are claimed to work by wad control.........not constriction?
Grandalf
They work in a totally different way to the conventional choke system. They retain the plastic wad in the choke for a fraction of a millisecond so that the shot goes out in a dense ball rather than the usual string. They are designed for steel shot use. I have both sizes for fowling. They do what it says on the box. They work well with heavy steel loads - 42 grs of BB out of a 3.5" cartridge for example. Super for geese. Can't see why you would need them for shooting pigeons with lead. I use fairly open chokes for that.
