Mole trapping

Recommended Posts

Charge wot u need to charge, have u far to travel? How much time will it take? Got to buy extra traps? If u have to go back for repeat visits?

Pro's and con's of charging by the mole, same as by acre or by time. Swings and roundabouts.

Don't feel guility ur providing a service, i don't expect any other tradseman to work for free, how much would it cost if his horse broke a leg on a mole hill? Horsey folk can be quite paticular at times

I used to charge £90 for 3 visits, payable on first day, setting traps,

second visit remove any moles and re set traps

third visit, remove moles and traps

if people wanted cheaper, then it was £30 first mole plus £10 per mole after,

£40 for the first, then £10 per mole or £20 per hour.

Well, I'll be damned!

+1.

Until my knees packed up completely.

Nice little earner - apart from 'business cards', an A5 card to pin up in the local garden centres and for the the local estate agents on a small commission - "It'll sell much better without the molehills in the garden, Sir" - worked a treat.
