Noise in the hide

Hi Guys,

Only been pigeon shooting a couple of times so im still working it all out.

It's obvious that staying out of sight of the pigeons is key but what about sound?

Clearly a shotgun bang scares them off but what about a normal conversation or other mid level noise in the hide? Does it put them off / stop them decoying.

Cheers,
Tom

Not a problem. I make a lot of noise - usually shouting the same two words immediately after firing a shot and often twice in succession. :unhappy:

Is your second word me/off or sake ?

My favourite is off ! Which they do....

Movement for pigeons is keys keep still ..... as for noise.... well I am always talking to the dog, my late dad, occasional chat to the man upstairs and the odd expletive :-)

If I had to keep still and quiet I am not sure I could..... the pigeons do not seem to care..... either way they fly in have a laugh and fly out :-) apart from the daft ones that come back a second time and they do tend to stay :-)
