Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone here could recommend a good cleaning solution for alloy wheels.

Hoping to replace my tyres with some A/T this summer but could do to clean the wheels up a bit.

Try as i may i cannot shift the old brake pad dust.

Thanks in advance.

aga man.

Used this for quite a while now. It's the only thing I've used that can make an off road motorcycle sparkle after a wash, truck wash etc is too aggressive & makes alloy dull.

You can get a product called wonder wheels. You just brush it in on dry alloys, leave for a minute or two then simply rinse off with plenty of cold water. Will bring your wheels up like new and very shiny.

Theres also another one made by comma for cleaning alloy wheels which you can buy from most motor factors. Only apply to dry wheels and do not allow to dry.

Used wonder wheels for over ten years, best stuff imo......
