Bisley@Braidwood would get mine Will,

http://www.bisleyshooting.co.uk/bisley-at-braidwood/

But alas I think it would effect numbers,

I think we normally try to keep it central even though its oop Norf.

I enjoyed Orston last time it was up here,

http://www.orston.com/

Nice ground,

Very hospitable and they looked after us,

Very good targets and sort of central

Yes, Orston is a nice ground, and I'm sure they won't screw up the scoring to deny victory to South team..??!!

Cat

Cat,

The only people who screwed up the scoring were the Southern shooters, they just didn't hit enough clays to win! Then the Southern ground owners, no doubt embarrassed by yet another Northern win went for the "miscounted" ruse so at least there would be more than one photo of the South holding the cup.

Talking of cups hope you're keeping "our" trophy safe and well polished!

Regards

Orston sounds good.

Looking forward to it, hope Teal picks the ground and gets date sorted soon, sooner the better for more to attend.

I think a straight up win for the North is on the cards without the skullduggery of a suffern ground.

Must be the strength & temperature of Northern beer and ales that makes the difference, that southern shandy stuff is headless and warm.

I'll be in training tonight lifting a few cold beers and getting some good northern sustenance.

What about Grimsthorpe or Hodnet? good.gif.pagespeed.ce.PoYRIVsMjL.gifOnes near the A1 and ones near the M6. from Auntie.

Hi Auntie,

Hodnet let us down on the very first one,

Promised us markers for every squad, didn't happen,

Something else which escapes me as well,

Also the clubhouse was tiny and not really suitable for the numbers that attended.

Oh and it rained ;)
