places to wildfowl ..... coming from the Midlands, Fakenham is just a chin-up spit from the water

but in your info bar it says you're from walmington on sea, is that not really near the seaside then?

but why fakenham? even by Norfolk standards they're weird  not far from holkham or sandringham though

You want to go to The 'Nam? You don't know what it's like until you get there. Whilst you sit at your computer, getting a little r and r, Charlie just needs a handful of rice and some cold rats meat for his. You sit typing questions into PW and Charlie stays squatting in the bush getting stronger and stronger.

Any one know what the wildfowling is like around this part of Norfolk?

Keen to know any current info and any historical info..... any factoids, myths, legends and shooting info

Thanks

Norfolk is great, I used to live in Brancaster Staithe and went to college near Norwich (not at the same time) the N Norfolk coast is superb with some beautiful marshes and saltings, but you may struggle to find a native amongst all the very rich incomers, most people inland are the genuine article, plenty of open countryside and lots of birds, I also lived in Wisbech for a year as well and enjoyed it, even managed to stay out of any major fights, big skies and good old boys well it was when I was there in the late seventies, :good: (dont spose the skies have changed)
