Doesn't really matter, around here if they painted a house brick blue it would get a seat in Westminster.

Mind you, it would probably do a better job than the twerp we've had for the last many years, thank God he's retiring from politics.

Apparently, as an MP, he already has three alternative incomes, doubtless he's more lined up, and cannot afford to continue to represent the people, not that he actually ever did.

Cynical? Moi? Heaven forfend!

Mark Hoban, if you must know.

Who are the 3 (so far) that are voting Labour?! You'll almost certainly be voting for a change in legislation that negatively affects firearms ownership or shooting. What you can 100% count on is that they will mismanage rural affairs for the length of their time in government. Don't do it!

Same here but with red brick

I've gone undecided, I was going to vote UKIP but lately they are coming across as being as bad as the rest of them,

I will vote on the day as I have since the day I turned 18, never missed a chance albeit local or general.

My biggest worry is the SNP teaming up with Labour just to get the tories out, we are all doomed then

Same as that. It scares me. We need to cut the jocks some slack for the sake of the union but it cant be just for the sake of electioneering. They need us and we need them. Thats what the union is all about isnt it?

I would possibly vote for UKIP in the election if there was a candidate standing in my area which is a very strong Lib Dem seat and no doubt will most likley remain one. So my choices are limited to Con, SNP, Labour or Lib Dem.

Its not going to be SNP for me and after the bull dust from last September it never will be. I dont think that the Cons will ever be in a strong position and have support this far north, so I am stuck between Lib Dem or Labour for the actual election.

yes thats scary what is said one day is not the same as they will say the next. King Salmonds side kick Princess Sturgon will do anything to gain another foot into the crack to the breaking up of the union. (IMO) Its going to be a big debate this time all accross the UK

Edinburgh university revealed this week that it was the white settlers in Scotland that voted NO that made the difference in last years referendum. If it had been a vote by Scottish folk only then the YES would have won. My point is that the SNP are going from strength to strength in Scotland and its somewhat ironic that they may end up playing a major part in the GE. Theres more pandas in Scotland then tory MP`s and the 1 that is here (David Mundell) is a complete #anny. Historically labour have relied on the Scottish vote and taken it for granted but since they cosied up with the tories they have lost huge support up here. It may end up in time that the SNP do get independence by literally smashing up Westminster from within...............

Given my back ground , family and upbringing , I should be a natural Labour supporter . But even as a man of 20 working in Birmingham I could se the damage to our industry that the unions and the then more socialist Labour party was doing .

I would have and did vote Liberal , that was before the LIb/Dems ,but there later stance on the EU , which I voted in favour of as the EEC having been misled as were the rest of us . Now I will vote UKIP not that I think they will win but if it was not for their likes no other party would be talking about the EU or immigration . I want to be governed by an elected government even if its not the one I voted for , not an unelected bunch of self serving bureaucrats .

The question of who bankrolls who is an important issue because whoever is bankrolling individual MP's or parties is the piper who's calling the tune!

Labour spent hundreds of parliamentary hours to get a ban on hunting into law but spent a only a few hours to decide to go to war.....who do we imagine that was payback to then? I believe the protectionists are bunging individual MP's and parliamentary parties to further their agendas, perhaps fieldsports should buy their own MP's?

Business bungs parliamentary parties and individual MP's with cash and non-jobs in order to protect their commercial interests, the unions do similar in order to look after their and their members interests! To blame the trade unions for all I'lls is at best naive!

Years ago if you were an employer or an employee you knew where your alliegences lay.........nowadays, since "new labour" the lines are blurred (if not non-existent?)

I am (was!) a worker, trade union supporter and believer in social justice so my natural alliegences lay with labour, but I am a lifelong fieldsportsman and I can't now bring myself to vote for labour.......no one now represents my beliefs, so where do I cast my vote now?

IMO what will happen is that the SNP will cosy up to get Labour in on the understanding that they get ANOTHER referendum on independence within the life of the first parliament,

This time they will get independence and finally go their own way,

THEN Labour are finished in this country for a very very long time,

On a plus point it will stop all the drivel we get from Sturgeon and Salmond

Doomed I tells ya.....doomed
