Ttfjlc
This is Jake my son's 1st Gundog, bought from a lovely litter fairly local (Holbeach). Here's hoping to many wonderful years of Jake sat beside my son on the marsh.

Yes I agree I've read plenty of the topics on here already, very informative! The breeder is a nice guy, he's a member of Fenland and Holbeach Wildfowlers. motty
Yes but will it be able to roll in dead seals with as much finesse as Shandy ? It took me a lot of training to get her roll like that!
fenboy
We all make mistakes , I certainly have . Don't rush the dog and I am sure it will work out fine , trouble with male labs as i have found is they can take a while to mature and i should have left the serious training until he was much older . I will be adding another one perhaps next year , but a bitch this time. It took me a lot of training to get her roll like that! Was that to stop Mat sitting too close to you on the marsh ? Ttfjlc
Sounds familiar with my Lab, too much too soon by my reckoning. I also will look to get a bitch once mine has gone to the marsh in the sky and Jake is older. Edited March 29, 2015 by Ttfjlc
