Is anyone going next Sunday 28th June? I am hoping to be there at about 09.15 for a couple of hours (got to try and be back in town for 13.30) so introduce yourself as I will be the one missing all the clays and blaming it on my bad shoulder, bad back the list is endless. Come on show your faces and you might even meet a Holbeach hotshot or two. harrycatcat1 Posted June 28, 2015 Report Share Posted June 28, 2015 I went this morning and had a stroll on the marsh before going to the shoot, I thought I had got the wrong day as there was no one about. The reason was that they were all in the cabin as it was raining Wildfowlers Anyway I tried the "sawn off" and it worked good enough for me on 30 clays so I was happy. Oh then when the rain was easing another member turned up, said that he had been lamping all night I recon that he had been peeping through the curtains till the rain stopped Thanks to those that help set up and those that put it all away as I just come and shoot and on my way. I met Fenboy (good to meet you mate ) Great bunch of lads and made to feel very welcome The first stand ( slow left to right crosser ) i could not see the clay for love knor money . Got a quick gimplse of it before it went along the bank and dissapeared into its background haha . Next time fenboy when i shout pull !!
