leadbreakfast
We have done this also; despite there being signs on the traps to the effect 'this is a legal larsen trap and should not be interfered with' etc etc, we have set up two trail cams to oversee what goes on. Let us know the results. Will do, if I recognise them I might just send them a pic of themselfs saying please stop trespassing and tampering with legal traps or you my find yourself in court

robbiep
I've now been catching slowly but steadily for a few weeks - all magpies in the larsen traps. Had 10 so far. Met up with someone from the corvid exchange (facebook) yesterday to give him a call bird, and as thanks he gave me a leg of home-reared pork and a load of sausages, from the Oxford sandy and black's that went off 'on holiday' recently. Out of interest, does anyone ever get jackdaws in larsen traps, that come in to magpie call birds ?
