Guest Mick.j
Are you sure its not 'your gun mount' thats at fault?
Salopian
AL391 has shims (spacers) with different offsets . These fit in between the stock and the receiver. Remove butt pad , then remove stock bolt , then pull off stock and there is the spacer . Depending on spacer fitted you can change and raise or lower stock . Guest Mick.j
yes done the spacer offset, still need more front end drop.if its gun fit what then ? Do you 'raise' your shoulder (which forms a pocket that the butt pad sits in) and put the stock to your cheek then into the 'shoulder pocket? Or do you just put the gun to your shoulder and put your cheek on the stock? The later is not the correct way (it may suit some people, but its not correct)
vinny123
yes i probably just put the gun to my shoulder
welshwarrior
I Spend more time correcting bad mounts than adjusting guns, gun fitting requires and good consistent mount. May be worth having it looked at befor you adjust the gun. Do you want more bend (drop) or less?

welshwarrior
yes i need more bend. so are you saying re correct my gun mount Can't comment on your mount ive never seen it. More bend is easy to get remove the required wood from the comb (if your as low as the spacers allow) then re finish. Personnal Id ask a knowledgeable person to look first.
