Finally arrived

Recommended Posts

Sgc this time. I was just wandering how it works,as in if I buy from an rfd, and he fills out the one section in pen, how does firearms then know what you've got at home? Also on the back of my license there's a big blank page printed that says guns present or something like that and mine just has *none* printed on it. So how do you end up with a list printed on it??

Ah right so its kind of printed on as guns in your posession at time of renewal, and then your seller adds them to your ticket as you buy and then there put on in ink again at renewal, I see now. By notifying them is it as simple as just emailing firearms with my license number and make model and serial number of new guns? Sorry fir all the questions but I researched my license application massively but buying and selling guns was something I overlooked so want to make sure I don't do nothing wrong so soon after my grant!

Sorry just read the 'by recorded post' bit! I'm that excited my eyes have stopped working

Well its not 100% good news for us dibbz, my mate who applied a day before me, had his feo visit in the morning and mine was the afternoon of the same day but his never arrived. Phoned thus morning to be told there's no notes on it other Than showing he'd been visited by the feo! So looks like it might be a while before his comes, still doesn't stop me going shopping mind you!

I tend to just email them with the info, make sure you send either RFD no or the sellers SGC no,name and address.

Also include yours just in case.

First couple of times I sent a letter too,but my FEO said that was unnecessary, you should get some sort of auto reply as a receipt.

as said the seller will enter the details on your certificate. You then have to inform your licensing authority of what you have bought and from whom with their certificate and issuing authorities details.whichever method of informing you use make sure you get a confirmation of receipt as mistakes can and do happen.Good luck with your shooting.
