hawkfanz Posted May 22, 2015 Report Share Posted May 22, 2015 out this afternoon with dog,walking by the horse paddocks[not somewere I can shoot] loads of lapwings about,one in particular dive bombing a crow,seconds later crow lands for a couple of seconds then its back in the air carrying a lapwing chick off to be devoured,,hence the title. KFC Posted May 27, 2015 Report Share Posted May 27, 2015 Driving across a fallow field to one of our Pheasant covers this afternoon I saw the same thing. Crows harrassing a Lapwing nest then one of them flew off with a chick in its beak. Might spend some time out there tomorrow with the semi-auto if I get a chance.
