I thought in the context of what happened in today's race lewis handled himself very well, he immediately shook rosbergs hand, answered the difficult questions in a professional manner even quoting 'we win as a team, and we lose as a team'.

He was visibly annoyed at the catastrophic error made by his team and understandably walked off in a huff at the first opportunity but he has such a drive for success wouldn't we all be cheesed off especially as the mistake benefited his main competitor the most,

Just my opinion but all things considered I thought he handled himself very well. ATB 425

Not a Hamilton fan,

What was parking up before the tunnel all about? Nobody asked him that.

When he collected his trophy you would think he was chewing a wasp.

Better news in that Jenson finally scored McLaren Hondas first points of the season

Canada next :good:

On for an easy win then got shafted by his own Team.

Unsporting didn't see that, toys out the pram what utter Tosh, thought he handled himself quite well under the cock up.

+1 :good:

Ahead by 20 seconds gaining a second a lap over Rosberg and the rest, beaten only by his own team and he never moaned once,we would all be a bit ****** at that and move on to the next race as quickly as possible.

those that see him as sulking mardy, have you ever raced ? you wear your heart on your sleeve and spend days before preparing not only physical but mentally also, then to have it ruined when its out of your control is a big come down and massive sense of failure, give it a few days when the emotions have settled and he will handle what happened better, but today the feeling of being robbed is all that will be going through his head

Davyo. Fl to complex for you then stick to football as for Jensen Button picking up points the only way Jenson will pick up any more points this season is if he gets a shell loyalty card from his local garage.

So wrong followed F1 for years and only stopped going to silverstone every year after schuey retired for the 1st time as for football, half of them wouldn't hold a job down in Mc Donald's.Was only commenting that as Hamilton is on the world stage he could of hidden his frustration till after the race.

Having just watched it I thought he handled the monumental screw up by his team pretty well.

He has plenty of haters, but it is undeniable that he is one of the most talented drivers on the grid, who was robbed - even Vettel said as much to him.

This^

Fair comment Davyo I stopped going to F1 because it became to expensive like me you must have watched the likes of Prost Senna Mansell Lauda etc Lewis is a great British talent you do not become world champion in any sport without hard work and dedication but today was down to Mercedes that was such poor judgement.

Have to agree. He handled it really well particularly compared to rosberg's unjustified smugness. Lucky doesn't cover half of it, more like gifted on a plate with bells on.

I missed it. What happened?

Hamilton was leading by some way but 10 or so laps to go and Verstappen crashed causing a safety car. Mercedes decided to call Lewis in for tyres as they wrongly calculated that they would have time to get him out again in the lead. He came out 3rd and couldn't pass for the rest of the race.

Bad team decision which cost them a 1 - 2, and Lewis the race.

Thanks for the explanation. What a huge error of judgement...

Given the high stakes here I thought he took it very well. He is one of the greats in F1 and let's hope this was just an error. It's not his fault the sport is so rich now - its ours in supporting Sky etc and this goes for soccer too. The big tv companies are collectively putting billions into sport and with advertising rights, sponsorship etc which we all sign up to when we buy those trainers, drive that car, drink that can of fiz, or even bank with Barclays it's is our wonderful capitalist society at work.
