How nice, and 'so that's where they all are'.

Just outside the village I do now have consent to shoot pigeons on a decent sized patch of ground. Just how much I couldn't possibly say. However there are very few pigeons on there at the moment so my satisfaction has to be gained from more cultural items such as these wild flowers grown on conservation strips. During my visit today I saw amongst other things wild grey partridges and a great many honey bees.

Continuing my fruitless tour I came across a field which had been drilled with peas earlier this week. The field must have had 400 pigeons on it which is 395 more than I have seen of late. Lines came in from all directions. Sadly I will never get on as 'two men from Grimsby shoot the farm'. They are missing a trick.

JDog that's a cracking picture, the " Two Men from Grimsby " may be a ploy , just ask for a day and fill your boots . I'd be worried if it was " Two Men from Norfolk"? ???
