Being in the right shore but the wrong area when the geese & duck flight past on your left or right but just to far out of range.

Or if you are decoying on stubble when you have clocked where the geese are coming in to feed in large numbers the day before only to find after getting up at silly O`clock, building a fantastic hide and setting out a great decoy pattern that the dammed things fly past high and into the next field.

Another thing that gets my goat is leaving empty cartridge cases laying around on the marsh or in the gate ways , there is no need for it .

This also apply to Pigeon and Crow shooters , there is nothing worse seeing a pile of empty cases in the hedge or scattered about where someone had a hide.

I know 99% do clear up and take all your rubbish home but its the 1% who don't and make it hard for other shooters if the land owner , farm manager or keeper find them and stop or make it hard for anyone else go.

At last Good answer also those who decide to creep along creeks or run across the Marsh to get on your shoulder do to the success your having

Ah yes I too have seen this, got into a good position after making the effort to leave early. Heard somebody approaching behind me, lit the torch, still getting closer so waved the torch at them again to no avail! Wanted to tell them to go forth and multiply but didn't want to risk ruining the flight. :)

See some sights in Scotland, lots of great sportsmen up there but also some idiots. Shot an estuary last year, in car park before morning flight another van pulled up and the two occupants got out and headed off into the dark without even acknowledging our ,'good morning', anyway not to worry plenty of room for everyone we thought.

Getting light, about four Wildfowlers out hidden on the meres edge, when there starts to be shots out in front of us on the sands. The two folk had gone out in the dark and lied on the mussel beds next to the roost. Emptied the estuary, screwed it up for everyone else but they walked off with a couple of geese each whilst no one else got a shot. Got to ask who were the idiots!

Thankfully such things happen only rarely but there are some very selfish xxxxs who will happily screw a flight up for everyone else so long as they get a goose
