Fitting a carbon bottle to Airwolf.

Hi guys,

I picked up a 480cc carbon buddy bottle off a friend that was fitted to his air wolf. Dated 09/12

My local gun smith said he could fit it but wouldn't do it for insurance/claim and warranty purposes.

I am not very technical minded so.

1) Anybody local want the job to install it? PM me please.

2) Anybody want to purchase if option 1 fails? Ill start a topic in sales thread.

Daystate told me they only sell and install the bottles to the wolverine.

Any advise or help appreciated.

Regards

thaikat, not heard of them being fitted to an airwolf but I have seen them on the wolverine FAC rifle, to be honest I personally think it would spoil the looks of the airwolf if you fitted the carbon bottle to it, the gun looks much betyer with the standard 400cc bottle, not keen on the 500cc bottle either as it looks way to long on the rifle, but if it helps with shot count on the Wolf FAC then so be it,

why do you want to change it ???

  • 2 weeks later...

I am unsure on the carbon bottle fittings but i did my aluminium standard bottle it was easy to do

Fire air wolf until empty

Remove stock

Once empty screw off old bottle(may need to use a rubber boa to hold and turn bottle)

Screw on new bottle with new rubber o ring

Put back in stock then fill to lowest pressure is if the maximum gun pressure is 220 but the bottle is 180 then its 180

I changed mine on my FAC mvt from a huge 500cc to a 400cc from best fittings made it a better rifle lighter to swing and not as unwieldy to use I got my bottle from best fittings

If yours is a non Fac 500 shots in 400cc is enough also the bigger bottles are pain due to length again not sure on weight and finally as a health and safety warning compressed gas can kill so always take care when handling it
