Dunkield Posted June 19, 2015 Report Share Posted June 19, 2015 I was out walking 'my' farm on Wednesday and the ground is cracked it is so dry I agree tomorrow looks dire, but Sunday a bit better Guess I will have to stalk this evening then..... TIDES EDGE Posted June 20, 2015 Author Report Share Posted June 20, 2015 Dunkield we have mostly maize with a block of mixed small seed at the flushing end which has chicory in it ready for next year , we tried one bit of chicory 2 years ago and it is so good we have put it on all of our cover crop blocks.Its the small seed that needs the rain the maize has been in for 2 weeks and is coming up.
