I much prefer the straight hand. I'm no fan of thumb holes.

Both look smart thought. See if you get any benefits in accuracy.

yeah that's going to be the decider obviously , I will see if I can get it out the week

Thats how i felt . When shooting prone i think the thumbhole is fantastic . With the sporter stock on sunday i was getting 20mm groups with a 110 yrd zero . Which i was very happy with however it just didnt feel comfi prone . Be intersting how it performs with the thumbhole .

Did the same with my CZ and wished I had not bothered, too bulky and cumbersome for a little rimmie imo, original stock looks like it had some decent grain too.

the sporter is not that much differnt in size if at all . Overall weight is still pretty much the same . I will have to try it m if its not good i will put a boyd tacticool on it if need be . I have just gone right off the pistol grip on the sporter . Its ok for off hand but awfull when prone .
