Bees in my trousers :-(

Some of the barley is starting to hang its head here now. Big numbers of pigeon about at the moment.

Took the morning off and so there I was trying to make start on them decoying on a field of clover adjacent to the barley. They were definitely curious but I think I need to move my position next time.

Being such a hot day today I decided not to wear boots and go for shoes instead which was a bad decision. Note to self that when walking over flowering clover remember to tuck your trousers in your socks. It's not funny being stung several times then, whilst in a state of undress trying to get the blighters out of my trousers, suddenly being a horse fly magnet. White legs obviously = lunch! Oh and whilst trying to hook the stings out of my skin with my knife I managed to stick it in my finger!

You live and learn!
