Scully
I used to have one of these: http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/315683-remington-1187-special-purpose-fac-12-gauge/ Fabulous guns and they soak up recoil like nobodies business. safc1973
My local RFD told me he wanted to get an SX3 for PSG. He has a few S1 shotguns for sale but the SX3 is the one he'd buy for himself. One of his other customers bought a 1301 but within a few months got rid of it for an SX3.
Clint1
Forgot to mention I already have a 11-87 that I'm going to keep but I want something a bit more classy to show off with lol
throdgrain
Benelli M2 before the M3 surely?
Sco77w
I know someone that has an M1 for sale that is quite trick but if you're looking to buy new Armsan has just started selling a PSG ready shotgun. Ive been using an armsan for years and can't fault it. Wayne has them for sale at NW custom parts.
The Mighty Prawn
The SX3 is easily the most popular at my club, probably followed by the M2... I'm a pumper so sadly have to judge you semi kids harshly though... Mostly because I can't beat you!
Twistedsanity
saiga with a 30 round drum should do the trick
Clint1
Benelli M2 before the M3 surely? How so? What's wrong with the M3 Surely it's the best of both, or have there been problems with them?
Clint1
saiga with a 30 round drum should do the trick I've been thinking about the box-mag options but I keep hearing that they are unreliable
SirDread
M2 is far more popular on the PSG circuit than the M3. I have never used an M3 but recall reading somewhere the pump can be quite stiff. Lots of trick bits available for the M2 also.
The Mighty Prawn
I've been thinking about the box-mag options but I keep hearing that they are unreliable In my experience I've never seen a reliable box mag, they are always dropping mags, failing to engage mag, stove piping you name it They are cheap but you'll spend the same again getting it to work
Sco77w
I've been thinking about the box-mag options but I keep hearing that they are unreliable I run a BR99 and its runs fine, I had 1 problem with a mag hanging up but that was more my fault for letting it get so dirty rather than the gun. Still love my tube fed Armsan tho

brett1985
Beretta 1301 for me, although I don't use it anywhere near as much as I should as I have now started shooting trap instead, so may be selling it in the near future... its light, durable and very fast. its very similar in characteristics to an M2, but with slightly less recoil. I have added a plus 5 Nordic extension, Nordic barrel clamp and Nordic red low drag follower. had a few teething issues brought on by a cartridge failure but its all resolved now and runs sweet as a nut. 10 year warranty too.... Mossberg
Benelli M2 before an M3! The M2 is reliable, light, reliable, quick, reliable, etc. The M3 is a jack of the trades but master of none. For a pump the Benelli Supernova. That's what I use! And cartridges, lots of cartridges! M

Breastman
I'm just looking for opinions re a S1 semi-auto for PSG. Choice of 4 atm but I will consider any others suggested but I'm not too enamoured of Hatsan. Benelli M3 pump/auto selective Winchester SX3 Beretta 1301 Fabarm PSS At least you've seen sense and not been tempted to buy a Hatsan as many have and regretted it, by the price Out of those options i'd go for the 1301 Mossy 930jm or Bora BR99 Both put u into the unlimited class In order to be put in "Open" division the gun needs to be box mag fed or use optical or electronic sights (And other alterations). A JMPro 930 would be in Standard division as it comes from the shop. saiga with a 30 round drum should do the trick There are magazine capacity limits even in Open division unfortunately (Well, IPSC competitions anyway) How so? What's wrong with the M3 Surely it's the best of both, or have there been problems with them? Not functioning well with 'normal' power cartridges aside, an M3 has a fixed 7+1 magazine capacity which requires gunsmithing to fix. Its heavier than either an M2 or Supernova and doesn't do the job as well as either of them. As has been said, Jack of all trades, master of none.
