old man
Advice please from the massive? Looking to change my HW80 due to the weight issue. Just looking for a cheap reliable tool. All comments gratefully received, thanks. Just found only 14 ftlbs so not hot enough unless easy to uprate? chrisjpainter
there's not too much to go on and the picture isn't too revealing! The price is about what you'd expect to pay from a dealer for an FAC, but you'd have to have a look at it to see if it's a good deal. You could get something similar for less if you hunted around and looked for a private deal. falcons are usually pretty solid, so it would be pretty low maintenance
Bluebarrels
I had a Falcon on FAC good reliable rifle, counted for many rabbits found it did not like accupell pellets and preferred Bisley magnums but like I said good rifle BB
Guest topshot_2k
Not worth the hassle of FAC for 14ftlbs is it? I have a 12ftlbs falcon prairie and can't fault it at all.
Mentalmac
I had a falcon too, FAC - was about 18 ft lbs then had more work on it after that. Good guns, likes bis mags as BB says, the skeleton stock I had was good for it beig light as a feather.

All comments gratefully received, thanks. Just found only 14 ftlbs so not hot enough unless easy to uprate? aha. in that case? I'd not bother. if you're going to get FAC, it makes sense to make it a genuinely different alternative - say around the 30ft/lb mark. 14ft/lb is pointlessly low! FalconFN
They are very easy to work on and upgrade. The power can be adjusted very quickly and easily but if it won't go higher then it may have the wrong hammer spring or transfer port, in which case just contact NSP engineering (they make/made falcon and Air Arms rifles) and ask for the upgrade kit. Due to its power being very low for a FAC rifle it will have very limited appeal so I'd say the price will be very negotiable. If you get it cheap and can get to 20-24ft lbs you'll have a fantastic, light and accurate rifle.
Livefast123
I had a a Falcon FN12 and am pig sick I sold it. Well built and accurate. Power is very very easy to adjust, at 14 ft lbs it would surprise me if it was a 12 ft lb rifle that somebody had ' turned up'. Falcon sell the FAC upgrade kit. At that price I would negotiate hard and bite his hand off.
