This is very possibly bronze quite heavy, the tip seems to be worn evenly, as in not broken.

This is a small flobert type cap, I just wondered if the marking mean anything to anyone.

 

 

Thanks, you could make an old chap in the local very happy, he found them while out with his metal detector.

Google 6mm blank and there are loads with that symbol. I'm sure you'll find more info if you can be bothered. It wasn't hard to find with the words you originally posted...

I must say I do appreciate your help.FalconFN. I had spent some time on google searching, but you were perhaps luckier than me. I were looking for the manufacturers name. I will look a little more tomorrow.

It doesn't really matter what they really are. you could make up any old convincing line and the guy will go off happy. You can emagine it down the pub >> " Ere I just found a starting handle for a Messerschmitt out with me metal detector". Reply > " Fancy that" >>Sport & entertainment for all.
