flippermaj Posted August 2, 2015 Report Share Posted August 2, 2015 Hi there, just watched Chris Greens latest wildfowling DVD. He sure hasn't mastered how to pump that gun!!! Not once in the entire DVD does he cycle it! If Chris or James read this I would be interested to know if with a bit more practice Chris has mastered the pump or has he given up? As he was clearly struggling why not go back to a SxS, even say an old 3 inch mag AYA and take a chance with 3 inch steel through it? It may not have the same range for geese as a 3.5 inch pump but still a good gun and it shouldn't jam!!!! Great DVD by the way. littlerob Posted August 5, 2015 Report Share Posted August 5, 2015 Have no problems with cycling you have to move it with a bit of speed. my hushpower pump when I remember that I need to phiscyly cock it/ move the forend back and then forward I just forget from time to time as used to shoot a semi auto . I had the same problem when I bought a benelli supa nova but I just love it now and it's become my go to gun. Just can't wait for the season to start now.
