WelshAndy Posted August 3, 2015 Report Share Posted August 3, 2015 I put an add up in the wanted section a fair while ago asking for some pigeon shooting for me and the boy. It was kindly answered last week by E.W on here. He messaged me saying he'd stumbled on a wheat field which was being combined that weekend with a few pigeons on it and whether Ryan would like a bash at them. We met up with E.W about 10 minutes from the location and followed him there. When we arrived there were already a good number of birds feeding on the freshly cut field. We shot till about mid afternoon and had a decent bag considering my poor shooting! Very proud of Ryan's discipline in the hide and his shooting! Massive thanks to E.W a credit to the sport. Posted August 4, 2015 Report Share Posted August 4, 2015 E.W .. your a top bloke That's very kind of you but i must say Andy is a real nice bloke and a fab father, Ryan has had a good upbringing by his parents and has manners to burn polite and a good lad all round and to top it all he was showing his dad how to shoot pigeons. I'll take them out again on the pigeon and when the pheasant season opens I'll give them a day on our shoot. I like to think we are all there to encourage each other when possible well that's my take on life a bit old fashion that's what comes of being a grandad.
