One local business owner seems to have a bee in their bonnet about the shoot, and I'd like to do my bit to support my local shoot. The estate where the clay shoot is at, has other (not clay) shooting. This is what is likely to be getting their back up. They are going to be really annoyed soon as the duck season is coming. The clay shoots are within the permitted times. However, the land is used for other shooting e.g. pest control, and duck flighting (when in season). Yeah just seems to be there person who owns the nursery and the person who runs the page tbh. Its not on every weekend from the way it reads to me so all the dog walking people have nothing better to do then jump on the facebook band wagon. Rupert Posted August 10, 2015 Report Share Posted August 10, 2015 I think that page is best left alone, whatever positives are publicised will only be met with the obtuse vitriol of the antis, as its more entertaining to joe blogs to read then you will be doing your self no favours with the wider public, the shoot needs to work on those not directly slating the noise in order to build a sway of upbeat vibes, #auntie has a good point, local poignant charity? or worthy cause, generate some casual work for local youngsters, be prepared to remodel the problem areas into something more ameanable long term.
