Hate to think who foots the bill-for weeks before the show the council digs deep into our pockets and litter picks and mows the verges just this once to make visitors think we are a tidy county-billhooks-come here 6 months later and look at the state of the place-don't look from a vehicle though-when the pre show patches have broken away the pot holes that blight our county reappear. I went to a local show a couple of weekends ago and watching all the kids when invited, climbing over the barriers into the ring to meet the hounds was great, as was seeing the fitness and condition of the dogs.
