FatFreddysCat Posted August 28, 2015 Report Share Posted August 28, 2015 They work very well, only 46 thou between 10 and 12g so wad seems to expand enough to form an adequate seal. 1oz 12g carts have almost no recoil in a 9lb gun. The ejectors don't completely eject the empties, they only come out about 3/4 of the way but easily removed by hand. No problem killing pigeons using 30g fibre wad carts. I'm thinking I may try using then over decoys on the marsh this year when ranges are closer as I can buy 3" steel 12g carts cheaper than I can reload 10g. figgy Posted August 28, 2015 Report Share Posted August 28, 2015 I'd be surprised if a 12guage fibre wad would seal in a ten gauge as there are known problems with the likes of the dt11 and fibre wads.
