fortune
I love to shoot clays on our informal clay shoot days. We had a shoot the other week where we got through 5 boxes of clays between 4 of us. There was no scoring or shooting order, pull or anything. Whoever had the button just let them go as they pleased. The end came when we had shot out of cartridges. At the end of the session there was a fair wheelbarrow load of empty cases. Each person had taken a long several different guns to shoot with. I just took a along my Browning 12 bore and my AyA 28 bore. We might have another bash on Monday if the weather holds up.
Grandalf
Just held our pheasant syndicate clay afternoon and BBQ. Super entetainment. No scoring allowed. Always end up with a mad three minutes. Three guns against four trappers. Clays flying everywhere. Three guns all fingers and thumbs. Everyone else taking the **** out of them. Then the wives arrive for the BBQ and PU. lssUPsl iS Is anyonhe else having trouble deleting unwanted typing errors as above? Can't erase them! fortune
Sounds like a couple of fun social shooting sessions You got it in 1. No prizes, no scores, no agro, no competition, no cartridges left. All you got to look forward to is a beer a burger, gun cleaning and good company from the friends that you shoot with. It can get a bit expensive though if you do it a couple of times a month what with a slab+ of cartridges and a box+ of clays the food, travel and the fact that another day has gone by but it's a superb day. It has to be classed as Recreation and relaxation and you can't take the money with you.
