Me and the Mrs took our lab and I thought I could enter her into the scurry just for fun as she has not done anything like that before when I got there it was quiet and I asked to have a go one of the women said you should have entered her in all the ones before or came here on Saturday all I wanted to do was give her a bit of fun and lose some of her energy not get a lecture on going to all the gamefairs in the country miserable old trout. She wasn't making the rules, she was just an enthusiast helping other dog people like herself (and you) have a good weekend. No sure she was a volunteer as scurry was run by a pro company, if the final was on Sunday fine. But at least put that on the website and the flyers/ ads that were published si people knew, as I for one would not have taken my dogs if I had known in advance. nobbyathome Posted September 15, 2015 Author Report Share Posted September 15, 2015 Sorry pushandpull but I disagree with you on this one I can happily be told that I can not do things by someone in charge of an event but when you get talked down in a condicending Manor by anyone it rattles my cage irrelevant of how long she has been there or how many people she has had to say no to there are nice ways to say no I am just pleased me and the Mrs didn't tell her where to stick it Apart from Mrs old trout we had a good day and look forward to going again sometime If anyone gets a chance to shoot a blackpowder gun give it a go it's great fun Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
