hambone
I am looking at two items in the BushWear catalogue, the first is a 'gutwrench' (looks like a mini Christmas tree) and the second is the 'plucker' (goes on a drill). Has anyone used these item's and if so are they any good / worth the money. Both are mainly for use on ducks. Ta.
Stonepark
Gut wrench is on Youtube being used but comments on other forums is that people stop using it or it eventually breaks, should really be stainless. Plucker not tried but have seen its big brother work and very effective using same fingers but mess is mostly contained within the drum, whereas this plucks externally... feathers everywhere?. Elliott.J.Drew
The pluckers that go on a drill are a useless novelty. I tried them on a few pinks last season. Virtually useless. it just takes the top few feathers off. And it doesn't work anywhere besides the breast or the flat of the gooses back. I have had it for 4-5 year. Used it once. Won't be using it again. A bit negative but I hope it helps. Atb

Charlie R
A goose all in my hands. It is probably the best invention known to man to hlp with conservation. Just can't get with it. However a duck I'm ok with.
