Scully
Nephew has just called round to show me his 'hot off the press' FAC. He applied for .22rf and .243 and although his ticket is 'closed' for now ( he has loads of land to shoot on anyhow ) he has no mentoring conditions. Pleased to read it stated AOLQ also. Well done Cumbria and just goes to show what a difference it can make having an FEO who is also an experienced shooter. It is his 21st birthday party tonight and while out with his mates for a meal the other night they presented him with personalised plates for his car, the last three letters of which are GUN. Very happy bunny.

WelshMike
Good news all round and some nice new plates for his car. Hope he has enough money to afford the insurance One of the few downsides of being young.

He went through his own windscreen a couple of years ago after running out of Tarmac, and had to complete a driver awareness course.

Oops that windscreen incident sounds painful...at least he only had himself to blame.
