100milesaway Posted October 15, 2015 Report Share Posted October 15, 2015 If it was eye dominance it would be apparenly no lead from one side and huge lead from the other. Gun speed is the culprit. The swing through shooter will see (relatively speaking) a much smaller gap than the pull away shooter, who in turn sees a smaller lead from the maintain lead, intercept or at the far end of the scale diminishing lead shooter. a303 Posted October 20, 2015 Report Share Posted October 20, 2015 I know If I shoot with one eye squinted or closed, I'll see lead. If I shoot both eyes open, I don't see lead. Work that one out. Everyone sees lead differently. One mans 6foot could be another mans 2 bus lengths could be another mans 2 cart lengths at the end of the barrel. bunnykiller Posted October 25, 2015 Report Share Posted October 25, 2015 The brain is a very complex computer and if your gun fits you watch the clay and your brain will put the gun in the right place, if you start to look for lead your eyes take over and you invariably miss.
